Welcome

Welcome to Windermere Elementary School!

As we head into 2022 after our holiday break, the staff of WES hope that you have had the opportunity to rest, relax, recharge and spend time with your family and friends.  It is with optimism and gratitude that we welcome you back after the holiday break and we look forward to the rest of the school year with our wonderful students.

It is exciting to be part of a community of great students, parents and staff at Windermere Elementary School.  We will continue to have high expectations for our students, and we have even higher expectations for ourselves.  We continue to focus on improving student learning for all students through an aligned curriculum, data collection and assessment.  We work diligently through collaboration to discuss teaching and learning strategies to meet the needs of our students.  An ongoing focus on instruction as well as supporting the social emotional needs of our students is key, as we believe healthy relationships and a strong sense of connectedness are integral to student learning success .  We are committed to finding each student’s skill level and taking them forward in their learning.

We thank you for sharing your children with us.  They are the reason we are here, and we are honored to be entrusted with this critical component of their lives.  If there is anything I can do to help or provide answers to questions you may have, please let me know.  My door is always open, and I always appreciate connecting with families to learn more about my students and this wonderful community.

Respectfully,

Ms. Keri Gust

Principal, Windermere Elementary School
