Students and staff recognized National Indigenous Peoples Day with some exciting events.  The school was welcomed by our AESW Ms. Stevens who recognized the sacred territory of the Secwepemc and Ktunaxa peoples.  Following these, our Gr. 4/5 class presented an oral reader's theatre (in Three Acts!) to the school which was done incredibly well.  Finally, local musician Mr. Pattrick Carrick directed our Gr. 2/3 and 3/4 classes with an amazing drumming performance that rocked the community!  It was a wonderful afternoon!
